Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Palm Access uses cookies and similar browser storage on the Palm Access website and the Job Market, which are currently served by the same application.

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser and reads back on later requests. Local storage is a similar browser feature: it keeps data on your device, but it is not sent to our servers with each request. Palm Access uses cookies and local storage; it does not use session storage or IndexedDB.

Palm Access operates the Palm Access website and the Palm Access Job Market, where talents and recruiters meet. For any question about this policy or about your choices, contact us at privacy@palm-access.com.

We group everything we store in your browser into four categories. The optional ones stay off until you turn them on.

• Necessary — keep you signed in, protect your account and remember your cookie choice. Always active.
• Preferences — remember your language and interface choices. Optional.
• Analytics — not used: Palm Access runs no analytics or audience-measurement tool today.
• Marketing — the Meta Pixel, used to measure advertising. Optional, and loaded only with your permission.

The table below lists every cookie Palm Access uses. It is generated from the same inventory the application itself relies on, so it matches what the service actually does.

Cookies marked “Only when relevant” appear only in specific situations: the sign-in cookies exist only while you are signed in, and Meta's cookies may appear only if you allow Marketing.

Some information is kept in your browser's local storage rather than in cookies. It stays on your device and is not sent with your requests, and it is never used for tracking.

Some features rely on services operated by other companies. Only the Meta Pixel can place cookies, and only with your permission. The others are external resources: your browser contacts them, which shares technical details such as your IP address with them, but Palm Access does not ask them to set cookies.

You can change or withdraw your optional cookie choices at any time from Cookie settings — with the button below, or the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page.

• If you turn off Preferences, the preference cookies and their copies in local storage are deleted. Your choices still work during your visit but are no longer remembered.
• If you turn off Marketing, the page reloads once so the Meta Pixel stops, and the _fbp and _fbc cookies are deleted from our domain. Palm Access then sends nothing further to Meta.
• Meta may keep its own cookies on its own domains, such as facebook.com. We cannot remove those; use Meta's own settings to control them.
• A change you make applies from your next page load at the latest.

Every major browser lets you view, delete and block cookies and site data, usually under Settings, in a section named Privacy or Site data. These controls work independently of Palm Access and complement Cookie settings rather than replace it.

If you block or delete the necessary cookies, you will be signed out and will not be able to sign in again until you allow them.

Each cookie is kept for the duration below, unless you delete it sooner. Local storage is kept until you clear it, except that account drafts are removed when you sign out and preference copies when you refuse Preferences.

Your choice is stored in the palm_consent cookie for 180 days, after which we ask again. We also ask again, sooner, if we change the technologies we use or what a category covers: a choice given for an earlier version is not carried over.

Technical classification: we treat palm_consent as necessary, because without it we could not respect your choice. Its legal classification is under review, as is the question of whether preference cookies may be treated as necessary; until that review concludes, we treat preferences as optional and ask first.

We update this policy when the technologies we use change. The date at the top shows the current version. Changes to what an optional category covers are reflected here before they take effect.
